MODELS AND SURF
“Models and surf” is an online surf shop based in Whale Beach, Australia founded in 2020 by Agostina from Argentina and Alberto from Italy.
The brand’s name represents its two founders’ passions: surf and fashion photography.
Their mission is to be Australia’s best customer-centric surf shop.
They are spontaneous, fun, and friendly, they want to make their customers feel the same way: welcomed and cherished.
They needed a logo that was easy to apply on various types of surfaces such as fabric, wood, and plastic.
When designing the logo, I used a typeface with refined lines and designed a minimalist geometric symbol that makes it recognizable, easy to apply to any surface and it guarantees its durability over time.
I used a bright, high-contrast color palette to reflect their fun and innovative side.

Composed by two elements:
1. The geometric figures
- A square as a result of outlining the letter “M”
- A circle as a result of outlining the letter “S”
- The intersection of both figures representing the brand’s unique universe where surf and fashion cohabit.
2. The business name and location
