SEASONS OF CELEBRATION – YEAR-END DANCE RECITAL POSTER & PROGRAM

For the 2025 year-end recital, Grassland Dance Academy invited me to design the full visual identity for their performance themed around major American holidays. The challenge was to create a cohesive and heartwarming design that referenced distinct seasonal celebrations

PROJECT BRIEF

The goal was to represent holidays like Valentine’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and summer festivities through a charming and nostalgic visual style. The tone had to feel family-friendly, warm, and playful, while still feeling polished and clear for event communication.

MY WORK

1. Concept development around the idea of “Seasons of Celebration”
2. Visual exploration through mood boards, color palettes, and style references
3. Creation of the main event poster, featuring soft, hand-drawn style illustrations and layered elements representing various U.S. holidays
4. Design of the event program, including the full show order, list of songs, dancer names, and team credits, all styled to match the poster’s aesthetic

The final materials blended whimsy with clarity, helping the studio communicate essential information while building excitement and emotional connection around the event.
